As we are the only publication on campus geared toward graduate students, we are continuously striving to find ways to not only provide students with helpful information, but also find ways to create cash flow for students. That old bike, video game system or set of records you may no longer have use for could provide someone else with hours, if not years of entertainment.
We all know college is a very transient place. When it comes time to graduate or move out of your current place of residence, often it can be difficult to take everything with you. As an undergraduate, the person living across the hall from me could not fit everything in their car when they were packing. As result, he sold me his Nintendo 64 with four controllers and all his games for a price we were both happy with.
He later sent me an e-mail saying the money he made was enough to pay for gas and provide him with food as he traveled through several states on his way home. And the Nintendo 64 is still providing plenty of spirited games of Mario Kart years later!
