It was standing room only as a jubilant crowd waited for Dr. Samuel L. Stanley to be called to the podium and officially announced as Stony Brook University’s new president.
The search is over and Stony Brook University has a new president! Dr. Samuel Leonard Stanley Jr., M.D.
At the last Graduate Student Organization Senate Meeting the budget committee presented their idea to cut the GradMag’s budget line in its entirety for next academic year.
The majority of students voted NO to our last poll – which asked if students should be allowed to use their laptops while class is in session. There were a total of 38 votes in roughly 26 days.
I am reaching out to you all to obtain your recommendations of a student, one each from USG and from GSO who could possibly serve on President Kenny's Campus Safety Advisory Committee.
